Arrived in Hong Kong

We arrived in Hong Kong after a long flight. Although we have done this before, it does not make the flight any easier. It seems every time we have done this journey, the plane ride becomes a time to reflect on what is going to happen to this child that is about to come into your family and how the dynamics of your family life is about to change. Jeanette, Pat, Lisa and Joanne you know what I'm talking about. You've waited so long for this time and have fallen in love with a photo. Sometimes you forget that this child comes with a lot of baggage and you imagine how you want it to be not how it will be. I have to say that we always have gone into this experience expecting the worst and hoping for the best. OK enough about the deep stuff.
Katie did really well on the flight. She slept much more than Bill and I. She was OK until we thought she lost her Nintendo DS. All 3 of us were crawling around on the plane floor looking for the game. We finally found it at the end of the flight in her carry on bag.
We are settled in at our hotel in Hong Kong Disney. It was dusk when we arrived at the hotel so we didn't see much of the park. The hotel is very nice. We do the park tomorrow.
So far so good. I'm off to bed.

Hi guys,

Seems like only yesterday.... Okay, not really but I thought it would make you feel better. I do remember the exhaustion though and not being able to wait to light up a cigarette!!!
It's supper time on Friday here and I've been thinking about you since we talked. When you got on the plane, flying over the pole and finally landing. Soon that cute little thing will be looking at you like you're a martian and wondering what the heck you're saying!! LOL Been there, done that. Have fun at Disney today. Can't wait to hear more and see pics. Will write again.

P.S. Who sucks>? The Patriots suck!
